Kundan has been trained in sociology and anthropology at the Delhi School of Economics, from where he completed his Masters and is engaged in writing his M.Phil dissertation titled, “Ask Your Assistant: Towards an Anthropology of Everyday Life with Emergent Artificial Intelligence”. Previously a student of economics, Kundan combines his disciplinary interests in a critical inquiry of the contemporary moment, which he approaches through the varied lenses of work and labour, narratives and selfhood, urban culture, and sociotechnical imaginaries. For his ICT course, Kundan tries to approach writing as a craft that is acquired gradually through regular, close engagements with reading texts and articulating thoughts. He ultimately seeks to enable students to foster an intimacy with the written medium and its unique potentiality to craft logical, coherent arguments.
