Manmeet finished her M.Sc. (Physics) and B.Sc. Hons. (Physics) from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She started her PhD in the fall of 2020. Broadly, her interest lies in theoretical condensed matter physics. She is currently working with Prof. Somendra M. Bhattacharjee in the field of dynamical quantum phase transitions, which are the phase transitions with respect to time with physical quantities becoming nonanalytic at the critical times. She seeks to know more about the behavior of the nonequilibrium quantum many body systems. Outside of work, she likes to watch movies, have conversations over chai, and play with dogs.
