Mehak is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Health Research Analytics and Trends (CHART). She possess a postgraduate degree in MSc. Zoology from Punjab University’s affiliated DAV College in Chandigarh. Following the completion of her degree, she participated in an internship program at the Centre for Chronic Disease Control (CCDD) in Delhi, where her focus was on the overview of pesticide residue in fruits and vegetables. Her area of academic interest lies in the field of Air pollution and its health impacts. Furthermore, she has been actively involved in a United Nations Development Programme project titled “Developing an Investment Case for Ambient Air Pollution in Two Cities of India.” Currently, she is engaged in research on the subject of air pollution and its health impacts.
