Nandini was born in Madhubani, Bihar. She studied Sciences in high school but changed her path to journalism in her undergraduate degree. She also holds a masters degree in human rights from Jamia Millia Islamia. She has worked with organisations like ANI and Women’s Era. She is deeply interested in political philosophy and psychology and likes to read from thinkers and authors like Viktor Frankl, Franz Kafka, Friedrich Nietzsche and Hannah Arendt.
She wants to remain a student for life. She is very interested in tiny houses and wants to retire in a tiny house in the mountains.
She is joining YIF to narrow down her area of interests for her PhD. She also wants to learn how to make better sense of what she is thinking and communicate it.
