Neela Saldanha

Neela Saldanha is a behaviour change consultant at Surgo Ventures where she helps design and test behavioural interventions. Neela was the founding director of the Centre for Social and Behaviour Change at Ashoka. She has also been a senior advisor at the Busara Center for Behavioural Economics. 

Neela has more than 15 years of experience in the private sector across consumer insights, branding, strategy consulting, and sales. She has led teams across multinationals such as Nestle, Unilever, and PepsiCo. She is also a board member of The Life You Can Save, an organisation that empowers people to take action in the fight against global poverty. 

Neela holds a PhD in marketing from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
