Nikita Kalra

YIF Class of 2021

B.Com
Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi

Beyond her shy, subtle and awkward exterior, Nikita is a girl who is equal parts loud and chirpy. She jumps at the idea of engaging with any sport or outdoor activity, even at the cost of exposing her clumsy side. She has learnt by example and firmly believes that the smallest acts of kindness can move mountains. You will mostly find her in a corner writing in her journal or singing to the sky while playing her ukulele.

Nikita has tried her hands at content writing, social entrepreneurship, yoga and learning new musical instruments. She has received training in western music and has also played football at the school-national level. She loves to engage in conversations related to music, food, nature, sustainability and mental health.
Being constantly opposed to the ‘what next’ question, she felt the need to find answers to a lot of her questions and found herself knocking on the door of the Young India Fellowship. She truly believes this opportunity to explore multidisciplinary education will provide clarity in her vision and help discover her full potential.
