Nikita is a free bird, who loves exploring the various facets of life. Although an engineer, she found more interest in the crafts of business. She ventured into her professional life as a marketer at Women’s Web and loved working on impact-driven projects. She likes to ideate on business strategies and is a workaholic once her interest has been captured. At the Young India Fellowship, she is trying to widen her understanding and explore intersections of various disciplines. She further plans to gear businesses to be socially conscious. Growing up in a small town, she always questioned the inequalities that limit women and hated how it robbed them of their basic rights. Exhausted by one-on-one debates with no observable change, she thus actioned the feminist in her to rather enable the communities focused on women-at-work. The freedom in her expresses itself through her paintings, the lens which captures way too many pictures, her off-the-cuff travel plans, and some fluky poetry. She is always up for deep conversations and suggests a cup of chai or memes as a good ice breaker.
