Poorvi believes that hailing from a women’s college has been an important element in shaping her identity. It helped her become who she is today- a more accepting and resolute person with a better understanding of feminism and what it means to her. Her endeavours in Enactus during college strengthened her interest in the social sector. She hopes to contribute to the social sector someday, through policy or practice. She thinks of herself as an eighty-year-old stuck in the body of a twenty-one-year-old because she loves ancient architecture, music from the 60s to the 80s and Vincent Van Gogh. She also has a knack for travel writing and feature writing. She holds an immense love for cities, their historical origin, culture and food. She wishes to travel the world one day, writing about it as she goes.
