An enthusiastic learner, Prabhleen is a doctor from Lady Hardinge Medical College. Working in a government hospital taught her to optimize resources and exposed her to ground-level inadequacies of the healthcare infrastructure. With a passion for psychology and an innate pull toward children, she has always wanted to bring fundamental change in the field of mental health and education. She likes to read wide-ranging literature and infrequently dabbles in prose and poetry. Her favourite way to destress is a friendly game of badminton or long post-dinner walks with good music. Otherwise a homebody, she enjoys planning the occasional getaway with pleasant company. Taking an unconventional detour from medicine, she believes that a multidimensional programme such as the YIF will adequately equip her to tackle new challenges in her quest towards change.
