Pragya Jain holds an M.A. in Economics from the Center for Economic Studies and Planning, Jawaharlal Nehru University and her Bachelor’s degree in Economics is from the University of Delhi. She has previously taught as a guest faculty at Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi and Vishwakarma University, Pune.

Currently, Pragya is pursuing her Ph.D. in Economics from Delhi School of Economics where her research work primarily focuses on demographic transition. Broadly, her research interests lie in the field of development economics, macroeconomics, growth theory and natural resources.
