Pragya Singh

Pragya Singh is currently working as a Junior Lab Assistant at the Trivedi School of Biosciences, Ashoka University. She manages routine laboratory operations and ensures the day-to-day functioning of the research facilities. She assists researchers in carrying out their experiments, oversees laboratory safety protocols, and conducts GLP certification sessions for new joiners. She is also involved in equipment management, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and providing technical and operational support to the laboratory teams. Prior to joining her current role, she worked as a Junior Lab Technician under KCDH-A, where she gained experience in laboratory handling and research support activities. Pragya completed her Master’s degree from SHUATS, Prayagraj, with merit (Silver medalist). Her dissertation work focused on Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). She completed her graduation from Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous, Bangalore. During her academic journey, she also interned at the Uttar Pradesh Council of Sugarcane Research, where she worked on Trichoderma and bioinoculant production.
