Pranjal is an independent and freelance filmmaker. Primarily a Director – Writer, and Editor, he has also worked intensively in audio-visual media production. From fiction to non-fiction and commercials to non-profits, several of his projects have been selected for and achieved national and international appreciation through film festivals and screenings. Currently working on his own, he is always looking to create something unique and meaningful with a strong belief in connecting, collaborating and working with people who share the same enthusiasm. To sum up, he is an all-arts-driven person who keenly explores filmmaking, writing (literature), photography and visual arts. The inspiration to join YIF came with an intent to develop a coherent perspective or approach – both as an artist and an individual. He hopes to witness a plethora of significant sparks during the fellowship.
