Priya is a PhD student at Ashoka’s Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences. She has completed her MSc in Psychology of Arts, Neuroaesthetics and Creativity from Goldsmiths, University of London and Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi). She has also been working as a research volunteer at ARISA Foundation, Pune since 2023 under the guidance of Dr. Kohinoor Darda.
Her research interests lie in Neuroaesthetics, applications of arts in health especially for neurological disorders and rare chronic disorders like Multiple Sclerosis and Fibromyalgia, and Neuroarchitecture. When not doing research you can find her listening to many genres of music, drawing mandalas and drinking coffee.
