In her school yearbook, Rahael was named “the girl with the most contagious smile.” She has been told that her optimistic outlook stands out about her (apart from her unmanageable curly hair and her passion for dance).
Rahael’s talkative nature in school earned her a seat right under the teacher’s nose – that left her with no alternative but to develop a keen interest in mathematics. Through school and college, Rahael has volunteered to teach less privileged children from various backgrounds. This has really helped mould her to become a more patient and better communicator. While in college, Rahael was part of the education team of “Guardians of Dreams” wherein she taught maths and english at a children’s home.
At the Young India Fellowship (YIF), Rahael looks forward to learning to think more creatively and progressively, while also offering her own outlook to the programme. She feels that YIF gives her a unique opportunity to diversify her learning as well as gain a new perspective. Rahael aspires to prioritise public service and collaboration for a better tomorrow.
