Rahul has varied interests ranging from long distance running to Indian politics. He has been fond of leadership right from his school days and was the captain of his house in class 10. During his undergraduate degree, he started off as the class representative and went on to become general secretary and president of the student council in subsequent years. His passion for running and fondness for leadership crossed paths at Manipal Marathon, an annual running event of Manipal. He was also part of Jagriti Yatra which is the world’s largest entrepreneurial train journey.
