Rahul Mookerjee is the managing partner of YoNao Capital Partners Ltd, a private investment and advisory firm based in Hong Kong. He is a founder and management board trustee of Ashoka University, and a board member of the Akanksha Foundation, a private public partnership in urban education.
Rahul joined Deutsche Bank in 1996, where he headed the global capital markets and institutional client group for Asia. His responsibilities included the client-facing businesses across all investors, corporations and sovereign entities. In addition, Rahul led the capital markets businesses in Asia across debt, equity and leverage finance. He was also a member of the global markets and global banking Asian executive committees. Rahul ran the bank’s proprietary trading activities in non-Japan Asia between 1996 and early 2000. In this capacity, his mandate was to invest and trade the Bank’s capital across all asset classes – debt, equity, and foreign exchange.
Rahul holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi and an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University.
