Rahul Upadhyay (they/them) is a masters degree holder in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar with a couple of courses in Interior Design (from Parsons School of Design, New York) and Transgender Studies (Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts, The New School, New York). They started working with the Alumni Relations department at IIT Gandhinagar soon after the post-graduation. Their key interest areas are relationship building, event planning, and management. Rahul is also a social worker. They have been working on LGBTQ+ rights in India and Abroad.
