Rajat Dhawan is a senior partner at McKinsey, leading its Advanced Industries Practice across the Asia-Pacific region, that comprises clients in the automotive, electronics, and aerospace & defence sectors. He helps companies on their long-term growth journeys as well as on transforming their operational capabilities, across product development, manufacturing, purchasing, and supply chains, and in the process achieve major improvements in performance.
Rajat is also the founder of the McKinsey Capability Center (MCC) in India. He has helped catalyse the growth of India’s automotive industry in partnership with the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association and the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers.
Rajat has a BTech in chemical engineering from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Lucknow.
