Rajesh is a Visiting Faculty in the Department of Mathematics at Ashoka University. His research focuses on Mapping Class Groups of surfaces, with particular interest in Liftable Mapping Class Groups arising from finite-sheeted simple regular branched covers. He earned his PhD from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal in 2025.
