Rashmi Muraleedhar is an instructor at the Undergraduate Writing Program at Ashoka University. She is a social science researcher, who recently graduated with a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Chicago. Her research interests lie at the intersection of South Asian politics, nationalism, migration and foreign policy. Her MA thesis looked at civic engagement practices among the Indian diaspora in the US. With a commitment to live an examined life herself, she hopes to impress upon her students the significance and utility of critical thinking within the classroom and without.
