Remanpreet is a quintessential dreamer who finds herself thrust into reality more often than she would like. Her education in a boarding school that prioritized independence and confidence in oneself has helped her stand her own through the many upheavals in her life, so far. She tries every day to categorize the world into black, white, and grey choosing eventually to allow rainbows to weave their magic.
When not trying to draw attention to an unjust society through articles she publishes with leading newspapers like The Hindu and The Quint. She can be found composing poetry about the many facets of life in Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi. Reman hopes to find an equilibrium between her two selves, this year at the Young India Fellowship. She is looking forward to engaging with Fellows who want to escape the ordinary, question the normal, and redefine society, at large. She wishes to help create and be a proud resident of a world that’s inclusive to all.
