Saloni is a 24-year-old Political Science graduate from Lady Shri Ram College for Women who enjoys life’s simple pleasures. She has always been an academically bright student who aspires to build realities that bring the greater good to many. She swears by the idiom that “it is never too late to learn something new” and hopes to keep the child-like curiosity within her always. Identifying as an introvert, she likes to spend her free time mostly cuddling up with close family or experimenting with food and art. A firm believer in the bottom-up approach, she wants to work towards making education more accessible, comprehensive, and inclusive. She sees YIF as an opportunity to compliment her undergraduate academic understanding with new insightful perspectives and real-world scenarios and build on her ability to learn “how to think.” She hopes the experience helps her to emerge as a more empathetic individual who can align her professional pursuits with the calling to serve the community.
