Senior Writing Tutor, Ashoka University
M.A. English, Ashoka UniversitySampurna’s interests span the environmental humanities, data storytelling, and critical code studies. She is a Senior Writing Tutor at Ashoka University’s Centre for Writing and Communication, where she is involved with an Mphasis Lab–funded study on AI-assisted writing. She has also been a Visiting Faculty with Ashoka University previously, offering a course on Type Design. Beyond academia, she has worked with GAIA, the Andaman Forest Department, and Kachrewaale Foundation, where she developed dashboards and policy briefs on climate financing and false climate solutions in the Asia-Pacific. She is a Smitu Kothari Fellow for the year 2025.
