Sankalp’s teenage years revolved around his dream of becoming a cricketer. While studying business in NM College, he noticed a lack of social circles for discussing art. To address this, he created ‘The Abstract Room’, a nationwide social community that hosts unique events on cinema, literature and other art forms on Zoom and across cities. This initiative has witnessed 2500+ individuals connect over art. His goal is to create hyperlocal art communities across India and also integrate cinema into school curricula. Through the YIF, he aims to learn how to create long-lasting social impact through entrepreneurship and community building. At the YIF he is eager to indulge in subjects that have fascinated him, network with the diverse cohort and fulfill the urge to experience hostel life. He is looking forward to creating social impact through entrepreneurship and community building.
