Saurabh Tripathi is Leader, Global Financial Institutions Practice at BCG. Prior to this, he led the Asia Pacific Financial Institutions Practice from 2018 to 2022. In over two decades of consulting experience, he has served clients across India, Europe, and Southeast Asia on digital transformation, strategy, and change management. He chairs the National Fintech committee and co-chairs the Committee on Digital Assets of the Federation of Indian Chambers of commerce (FICCI) in India.
Saurabh’s professional interests include digital transformation, payments business and technologies, digital assets and blockchain, high performance tech stacks, embedded finance, digital banking and finance, digital marketing and new ways of working.
Saurabh leads the Indian banking industry-wide annual productivity benchmarking platform, FIBAC, which is sponsored by Indian Banks Association (IBA). In 2014, he was recognised by Economic Times as one of India’s Top 40 under 40 business leaders in the country.
Saurabh holds a BTech in electronics from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Calcutta. He was awarded the President’s Gold Medal from IIT Kanpur and the Institute’s Gold Medal from IIM Calcutta.
