Shanmukha Sai Siva Kartheek Uppalapati is a techie based out of Hyderabad. In the past 2.5 years as a Software Engineer at ValueMomentum, he worked along with multiple stakeholders in application development and testing. His transformation at ValueMomentum from a graduate trainee to technical SME within a short span of time is a testimony of his technical, professional, and leadership abilities. He was one of the recipients of the annual award at ValueMomentum for 2019-20. Apart from this, he also holds professional certifications in the insurance domain and agile development. Diversity and change are the two things at the Young India Fellowship that he was more fascinated about. He feels fortunate to step out of his comfort zone in the very uncertain times shaped by the Covid-19 and hopes that the Fellowship will help him learn multiple skills required to solve the challenging problems. In his free time, he enjoys binge-watching TV shows, especially drama and thriller genres. Having been inspired by permaculture, he dreams of becoming an urban farmer. He would like to work in information technology with a primary focus on product management and user experience in InsureTech.
