Shantanu Bhanja is a marketer and business leader who has spent three decades in Consumer Products and Media. In his last Corporate role, he was CEO of Pidilite Consumer Products. Prior to Pidilite, he worked for 10 years at Hindustan Times / HT Media, as a Business Head across both the Print and the Digital businesses, and more than 15 years with Reckitt Benckiser in India, at the Global HQ in the UK, and in Europe. In his last assignment at Reckitt, Shantanu was the Marketing Director of the RB Business in Portugal.
Mr. Bhanja is now a Senior Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Ashoka University, and an Operating Partner at The Convergence Foundation, a grant-making social incubator in India’s development sector, as well as a mentor to digital start-ups, all with a view to leveraging his experience and learnings in corporate life to create impact at scale.
Shantanu Bhanja is an Engineering graduate from IIT-Kharagpur, and a postgraduate in Management from IIM-Calcutta; he also completed an Advanced Management Programme at the Saïd Business School, Oxford University in 2007.
