Shivangi Khattar is a PhD student in Psychology department. She is interested in exploring the development of intersensory perception in infants, and early intervention with a focus on enhancing social communication and sensory integration in children with atypical development. She has completed B.A. in Liberal Arts at Soka University of America and M.A. in Psychology in Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is currently working with Dr. Madhavi Maganti on her ‘Development of intersensory perception’ project. She plans to focus on understanding an intervention to enhance multimodal sensory perception in children with ASD. Previously, she has worked in the area of research especially around children with developmental difficulties, and hopes to continue exploring this work. Below are her publications:
