Shri Gowri Tikoti is Phd student in the Department of Physics at Ashoka. She completed her undergraduate degree from Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru. Having done her post graduate degree in Physics from University of Mysore, Mysuru, she always knew that she wanted to pursue Physics research. She is currently working with Dr. Pramoda Kumar on an experimental Biophysics project, trying to understand entropy driven phase transitions in the colony of C.Elegans.
In her spare time, she loves to cook, read, travel, trek and sometimes, in contrast to all of it, likes to nap all day. Apart from cats and C.elegans, chai gets her excited. On a fine day in the future, she aspires to be an independent researcher and continue to be a learner.
