Shruti Srivastava

Shruti works as a Grant Manager at the Research and Development Office at Ashoka University. She manages the pre-Award grant management process across the various departments and faculty members and researcher personnel. In Pre-award grant management, she keeps the grant database up-to-date, disseminate available funding opportunities, facilitates the grant submission, provides administrative assistance to ensure the compliance and due diligence throughout the grant submission process.

Her research interests include infectious diseases and public health. By training Shruti is an experimental biologist with training in infectious disease, immunology and public health. She completed her Ph.D. and postdoctoral studies from Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad, India. At CDFD, she studied the relationship between mycobacterial virulence proteins and human immune response. Before Joining Ashoka University, she worked as Research Scientist at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon where she was managing COVID-19 testing laboratory, communication with hospital, government officials and general public. Simultaneously, she was executing research projects on COVID-19, antimicrobial resistance and tuberculosis. She has written research articles, general notes on tuberculosis, COVID-19, antimicrobial resistance, intellectual property rights.
