Dr Shweta Dixit is a Biostatistician with expertise in analysing demographic data, specifically focusing on fertility and child mortality. Her proficiency lies in mathematical and statistical modelling, where she has worked extensively with proposed statistical distributions and their application using classical and Bayesian approaches to National Health Data.
Currently, Dr Dixit serves as an Environmental Health Researcher, specializing in the intersection of health and air pollution in India. Her research investigates the impact of air pollution on various health outcomes, aiming to provide valuable insights into the environmental health landscape of the country.
With a Ph.D. in Statistics from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Dr Dixit possesses a strong academic background. She has also contributed to the field as a research faculty member at SRMIST, Chennai and GDGU, Gurugram. In addition to her teaching roles, Dr Dixit has made contributions to the research community with research publications and book chapters in internationally recognized journals.
