Siddhima has a keen interest in public policy and a penchant for history, culture, and food. She is a firm believer in the idea that one’s purpose in life has to be greater than oneself. With this idea at the core, she worked with disadvantaged communities through NGOs like Pratham Education Foundation, Child Rights and You (CRY), Janaagraha, and e-vidyaloka. These experiences, along with a deep passion for community service, led her to start Rural Action Lab, a project aimed at bringing stories from rural India to the forefront. Through the YIF, she aspires to learn the art of analyzing issues from a multidisciplinary lens and build a career in the social and development sector. She believes the YIF will be an excellent platform for sharing ideas, exploring new disciplines, and developing innovative solutions by engaging with enthusiastic peers. It will further help complement her learnings with intellectual depth and gain the practical knowledge to drive meaningful change in society.
