She is a public health researcher and has done her post-graduation in public health from the Indian Institute of Public Health- Delhi. She holds a graduation degree in dentistry which enabled her to acquire substantial clinical experience in the dental field. As part of the MPH program, She completed her dissertation on mapping perceptions of people living in low socio-economic neighbourhoods near a major Indian river, the Yamuna to understand how social and behavioural determinants play a role in individual exposure for which she had been granted the funded student thesis fellowship from the Centre for Environmental Health (CEH). She has worked on several project with United Nations , WHO, and ILO on biomedical waste management, environmental, and the nutritional component of public health. She has also been awarded for Early career training research fellowship at Harvard School of Public Health under GEOhealth HEALS program.
