Souradeep is currently completing his PhD in physics at Ashoka University, where his research has focused on the intersection of statistical physics and computational biology, specifically to understand certain geometrical aspects of biopolymers like DNA.
His ICT course invites students to critically engage with knowledge creation within the sciences from an interdisciplinary lens. He is enthusiastic about a greater dialogue and collaboration between the social and natural sciences, and hopes to build a curiosity-driven and compassionate classroom that challenges this false dichotomy between the disciplines. He is a graduate of Presidency University, Kolkata and the University of Delhi.
