Sumit Goel is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Ashoka University. His research is in microeconomic theory, with a focus on mechanism design, contract theory, and matching. Before joining Ashoka, he was a Postdoctoral Associate in the Division of Social Science at NYU Abu Dhabi. He received his PhD in Social Science, with a minor in Computer Science, from the California Institute of Technology.
