Facility In-charge – High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry Facility
Trivedi School of Biosciences, Ashoka University
Suneet Shekhar Singh is the Facility In-charge of the High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry Facility at the Trivedi School of Biosciences, Ashoka University. He oversees the operation, maintenance, and development of advanced Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC–MS) workflows, supporting multidisciplinary research across the biological, chemical, and biomedical sciences.
He manages state-of-the-art instrumentation, including the Orbitrap Fusion Lumos Tribrid Mass Spectrometer and the TSQ Altis Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer coupled with the Vanquish UHPLC and nano-flow LC systems. His responsibilities include method development, chromatographic optimisation, troubleshooting, and support for both targeted and untargeted workflows.
Prior to joining Ashoka University, he was associated with the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), and has also served as an Application Scientist at Central Discovery Centre, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and as an Application Specialist at Centralised Core Research Facility, AIIMS, contributing to the establishment and management of mass spectrometry and proteomics facilities. He began his career in 2018, after completing his Master’s degree in Forensic Science, with training in LC–MS instrumentation and proteomics workflows.
