Phd in Physics
“Exploring the quantum dance of magnons, I dive deep into the spin dynamics of magnetic materials, unlocking pathways to next-generation technologies in experimental condensed matter physics.”
Taniya Sharma, an aspiring physicist pursuing her PhD in Physics under the supervision of Dr. Susmita Saha, with a focus on spin wave dynamics in magnetic materials. She graduated with a degree in physics from the University of Delhi, where her passion for physics was ignited by courses in electromagnetism and quantum mechanics. This interest deepened during her post-graduation at NIT Jaipur, where she focused on advanced topics like solid-state physics and nano-materials.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Taniya finds solace in nature and 90s songs. She likes to play with dogs, fuelled by chai and endless conversation on physics.
