Tanu Priya

Tanu Priya is currently working as Deputy Manager (lab manager) at Trivedi School of Bioscience at Ashoka University. She plays a major role in facilitating the laboratory management and helps in the smooth functioning of the research facility on a day-to-day basis. She acts as a liaison between the vendor and the faculty for running their research without hindrance. She is closely involved in preparing the standard operating procedure and maintenance of the instruments procured by Ashoka University to facilitate bioscience research. She also provides technical support to the PhD students, as users of the high-end equipment of various research facilities of Biology.

She completed her Master’s in Microbiology from Jain University, Bangalore, where her core study was the production of synbiotic beverages using Lactobacillus sps. Before coming to her current role, she took up the position of project associate in the Human Immunology Lab at Ashoka University and worked on flow cytometry and in the tissue culture facility. She helped in setting up the Human Immunology lab to work on the project in adaptive immune memory.
