TCI Foundation

TCI Foundation, the social arm of Transport Corporation of India (TCI) Limited, is committed to serve the nation with a motto of ‘equality and better life for all citizens’. The Foundation is a registered entity under Indian Trust Act, 1882 and duly empowered by the Government of India under Section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act. The Foundation is proudly associated with government of India, state governments, international organisations, public sector undertakings and corporates of repute to deliver CSR activities in India. TCI Foundation in association with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation was instrumental and successful in developing the HIV control programme for truckers in India called “KAVACH”.

The Foundation is in vanguard to support and assist the communities including less privileged in India by facilitating the empowerment of young mind by providing education, promotion of sports activities by developing sports facilities, and reducing the environmental impact by going green and implementing the practice of 3Rs – reduce, reuse, recycle. The Foundation extends its support to victims of natural disasters and conducts regular healthcare programmes in backward regions of the country.
