Ph.D. University of DelhiDr. Ujjaini Dasgupta is a Research Professor at Koita Centre for Digital Health (KCDH-A), Ashoka University.
Dr. Dasgupta brings deep expertise in cancer biology, with a research focus on lipid metabolism and tumor microenvironment. Her group applies multi-omics approaches to uncover how lipid and glycolipid metabolism influences tumour progression and response to therapy. They also work on identifying liquid biopsy-based lipid biomarkers for early diagnosis of chronic and oncological diseases, in close collaboration with clinicians.
With a PhD from the University of Delhi and postdoctoral work at the UMass Chan Medical School, USA, Dr. Dasgupta began her independent research journey in 2016 at Amity University and joined KCDH-A in 2025.
