Varun Andhare holds an MA in Cultural Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. His research revolves around stardom and politics in Hindi cinema, particularly in the context of new media, and his Master’s dissertation was on the Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.
