William Comfort is chief investment officer of the Conversion Group. He is the principal of Conversion Capital Partners Limited, an investment fund he founded in 2003. Prior to this, he was a private equity investor with CVC Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm based in London, England.
Bill is a member of the board of directors at Ergo Science Corp, Kofax Inc. and Lyris Inc. He also served as a stockholder and director of numerous public and private companies as a representative of CVC Capital Partners and CVC.
Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Boston University, and a Juris Doctor and master of law in tax law from New York University. He is also a member of the New York State Bar.
