Yusra Khan

YIF Class of 2022

B.A. English Literature and History
Miranda House, University of Delhi

“Labour is entitled to all that it creates.” Yusra craves to see, in her lifetime, a world where class issues gain primacy in the realm of politics. She hates pigeons, and is enamoured by the concept of culture-jamming. On odd days, she is geeking out about modernist architecture and reading up on political philosophy; on even ones, she is absorbed with the consumption of copious amounts of naturalistic poetry. In her free time, you will either find her going through Aaron Swartz’s now-defunct blog, or just generally coming to terms with how much she still loves that indie-rock band she discovered when she was twelve. (Hint: the first word is a polar region, the second a simian mammal).
