Ashish Dhawan, Founding Chairperson of Ashoka University, celebrates Ashoka’s special 10-year milestone and expresses gratitude to the entire Ashoka community

“Congratulations to the entire Ashoka community. This is very special. We’ve just completed 10 years.
Honestly, when we started on this journey in 2007, I would never have imagined that 10 years after setting up the University and getting going with our Bachelor’s programme, the Young India Fellowship, etc., we would be in the position we are in today. We have a student community of 3,000 and an alumni community of more than 5,000.
A special thanks to the students, to the alumni, and to the parents for having played a role in building Ashoka. Special thanks to our faculty, the administrators, the senior leaders, and the Founders who have really committed so much to building this into a leading institution, a pioneer in interdisciplinary education in the country.
It’s with great joy that I once again congratulate all of you on reaching this 10-year mark.”
