One such pathway is through our Alumni portal, which serves as a dynamic hub, connecting our graduates to a wealth of opportunities. It is a dedicated platform for circulating placement and internship prospects, ensuring that our alumni remain informed and empowered to pursue their professional aspirations. This exchange not only enriches the learning experience but also strengthens the intergenerational ties that bind our community together. 

In the academic year of 2022-2023, we took our commitment to our alumni a step further by re-launching the Early Leadership programme that welcomed them back into the Ashoka fold. Through this programme, recent graduates from various disciplines, including Undergraduate, ASP, YIF, and Master’s programs, joined different departments within the university, such as the Office of Student Affairs, Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Learning Support, Career Development Office, High School Programmes, AshokaX, Office of Outreach, Office of Admissions, Center for Entrepreneurship, and the Information Technology Team.

This programme not only provided our alumni with valuable work experience but also served as a transition period, guiding them from student life to a professional work environment. It was an ongoing learning process, where they could apply their academic knowledge while being nurtured by the supportive Ashoka community.

Empowering Success through Comprehensive Support: Ashoka’s dedication to its alumni begins well before they receive their degrees. Our placement cycle starts with a comprehensive career preparatory programme, designed to equip students with the tools and skills necessary for success in the professional world. Through this programme, which is open to both current students and alumni, students learn the intricacies of building compelling profiles, crafting effective resumes, navigating placement rounds, and honing their interview techniques. Notably, these sessions are not solely led by industry experts but also by our very own alumni who have ascended to leadership positions across various sectors. Their involvement is a testament to their desire to give back to their alma mater and play an instrumental role in helping current students and fellow alumni achieve their dreams.

Forging Connections, Unlocking Opportunities: Once our alumni are equipped with the necessary skills, Ashoka facilitates their access to a diverse array of opportunities. During the recent placement year, we shared an impressive 135 openings with our alumni community through the alumni portal and email channels.

These prospects spanned renowned organisations such as EY India, Beret Scholars, Plaksha University, The Nudge Institute, Spencer Stuart, QAI Global, Egon Zehnder KCI, Spotify, India Climate Collaborative, Nykaa, Kommune, Google, Blume Ventures, Harvard Business School, Yulu, CMIE, KPMG, Krea University, Josh Talks, Ford Foundation, and Oxane Partners, among others. Additionally, we actively shared available positions within Ashoka University itself, inviting our alumni to serve their alma mater.
