Speaker Bio: Anubha Yadav is an author, screenwriter & Associate Professor of broadcast studies at University of Delhi. She has written two books, The Anger of Saintly Men (Fiction) & Scripting Bollywood (Non Fiction). Recently, she has researched & co-written the audio documentary, Bhopal, for BBC Radio 4.
Scripting Bollywood: Candid Conversations with Women Who Write Hindi Cinema, is one of the first non-fiction anthologies on the work of women screenwriters of Bombay cinema. Published by the feminist Women Unlimited (2021, Kali Press, India) This book will be under discussion.
Dr. Aakshi Magazine teaches Film Studies at Ashoka University and has co-edited Refocus: The Films of Zoya Akhtar for the Edinburgh University Press (July, 2022)
