Global Immuno Course for post graduate students

An annual Global Immuno Course is hosted by the Datla Human Immunome Lab, on campus in Ashoka University, in collaboration with GlobalImmunoTM (led by Prof. Carla Rothlin, Prof. Sourav Ghosh and Prof. Dipyaman Ganguly).

The course is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the foundational knowledge of immunology to a chosen cohort of Masters students from all over the nation. It offers a unique opportunity for aspiring immunologists to engage in discussions with leading experts in the field gaining insights into cutting-edge research and developments.

The course is conducted by internationally acclaimed faculty members from Ashoka and its partners universities/ institutes such as Yale University, IISER Pune, NCBS, University of Michigan, Emory University, Columbia University, the Mount Sinai Human Immune Monitoring Center, The Doherty Institute, The University of Melbourne.

Planned to held annually at the Ashoka campus in Sonepat, the Course will help establish the Datla Human Immunome Centre as a significant contributor to this space.

High School Immunology Outreach programme

The Global Immuno Course (GIC) also has a high school outreach component where students from classes IX to XII are exposed to a programme that is specially designed to ignite passion in immunology through engaging lectures and hands-on activities. Throughout the event, the Master’s students attending the GIC serves as the primary medium of communication with the school kids, ensuring that complex scientific concepts are presented in an approachable and engaging manner.

Annual International Symposium on Immunology

The Global Immuno Course will also be followed with an Annual Immunology Research Symposium (on campus/off campus) involving both national and international faculties and research scholars from all relevant national institutions.

Facility Workshops

DatlaHILab and the Immuno Core Facility will organize workshops for relevant technologies inviting research scholars from all national/international institutions.
