The Media Studies Department is pleased to invite you to a talk by P. Sainath on his latest book, The Last Heroes -Footsoldiers of India's Freedom on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 1.30 pm.

P Sainath, former Rural Affairs Editor of The Hindu is the 2007 winner of the Ramon Magsaysay Award and received Japan's Fukuoka Prize in 2021. He has also won the World Media Summit Global Award for Excellence 2014 for public welfare reporting.  Sainath has taught at journalism schools in India and abroad, mentoring students as well as training media professionals.
