Abstract: 

A lot of people wonder where and how the different directions in our lab come together. We work on the neuroethology of insect communication on the one hand, and fish quantitative and economic cognition on the other. Beyond the general common ground shared by these questions in the broader framework of cognition and behavioural ecology, we explain the links between these specific lines of thought and the trajectory of the lab.
