Akshay Bhardwaj

Akshay is an experienced professional with over nine years of experience in Program Management and Science Administration in India’s translational education sector with specialization in scientific program and grants management, strategic planning and people development.

Before joining Ashoka, Akshay has worked in the capacity of Grants Adviser at UNESCO – Regional Centre for Biotechnology at Faridabad, leading the national doctoral (DBT Junior Research Fellowship) and post-doctoral (DBT – Research Associateship) fellowship programs of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. He was also associated with Biotech Consortium India Limited at New Delhi towards the implementation of industrial training programs in the area of biotechnology and allied sciences for the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.

Akshay holds a degree of Bachelors of Technology within the discipline of Bioinformatics from Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur.
